In collaboration with the Roads Department, the Geographic Information Systems Center at Dubai Municipality has launched a service allowing consultants and contractors to access the progress of the Palm Access Road Project in order to view information regarding the work progress. The service is beneficial in finding up-to-date information of the current and planned works with regards to the status of the project, as well as road closures and diversions. Users will also be able to perform queries of the progress of the project and other practical information on-line.

The consultants and contractors are able to access on-site to review this information. Access to the website is restricted to the consultant and contractors working on this project, as well as any other parties that are directly related to the construction work (i.e. sub-contractors).

Dubai Municipality thanks all parties for their great cooperation to make the management of this important road project possible. The website is created to help in the construction management of the project spatially for better decision-making procedures.

You can view the project by entering your username and password, through www.dugis.ae (if you are DM employee or GIN user). Or through http://www.exploredubai.ae/ (if you are a contractor or consultant working for the project)

• Zoom in to the area of project R757. (you shall find the status of the project in construction stage)
• Choose , then click on any segment you choose.
• Choose the “Constructions” layer, from the window.

Then you can check the status of the road segment and tasks as received from the Construction Segmentation Drawings & Primavera schedule from Contractors.
