Dubai GIS Centre launched the new version of DUGIS. In the new look of DUGIS you will get several new tools, features and more interactive appearance.
Dugis is an intranet application, the Dubai Emirate Integrated Geographic Information System portal; It offers powerful capabilities in an easy to use framework. It has nicely changed the way government users can access and interact with mapping and GIS data at their desktops.
A large proportion of the information exchanged between government departments is geographic in nature, so unifying access to this data through a central hub is immensely useful. There are considerable cost and time savings to be realized from having all this essential information at our fingertips through a single window.
In the new version of DUGIS much of functionality, appearance, and data content are available, where many normal and professional GIS users can get benefit.
