Dubai GIS Center received a delegation from Mizeerae’ secondary school in Ajman were two staff members introduced the students and their geography teacher Ms. Hessa Al Naeemi to the Dubai GIS Center units and services. Moreover, the students were familiarized with Dubai Municipality experiences in urban planning.

Also, the students were introduced to the role that the GIS center plays in collecting digital detailed, geographic data and attributes for the emirate from various government departments, establishments, publish organizations, individuals and companies operating in Dubai. In addition to provide GIS services, data and applications in accordance to signed agreements and memos of understanding to protect geographic data, and setting technical standers for center relation with other government departments, establishments & organizations, individuals and companies working in Dubai.
